Comet the Cosmic Dragon is a toy design and fabrication project exploring how play, material wear, and visual change can function as a long‑term interaction system. Designed under sustainable constraints, the toy is intended to evolve through use rather than deteriorate, revealing new colours and surface details as it is handled over time.
The project focuses on playability, durability, and feedback, reframing wear as a feature rather than a flaw. By allowing interaction to physically transform the object, the design encourages continued engagement and extends the toy’s lifespan.
Scope included packaging and accessory design, branding artwork, experimental material testing, full documentation, a physical toy prototype, and a proof‑of‑concept pitch demonstrating process and play intent.
